What am I suppose to be doing? xD

I am SO lost. I just spawned in Jamestown. There's a message on the right of my screen telling me to Walk away from Jamestown.. I did that and i wasn't sure where I was walking to.. Lol! So I went back. There's NPC's saying they'll help me find somewhere to settle for 30 silver, but I don't have 30 silver or know how to obtain it. Any help would be nice. This game is a little confusing to start.

In the Instructions on your right corner theres written you should walk outside the city and collect some stuff to craft inspirationals, u have to study these inspirationals to learn survival. After that go back to city and u dont have to pay 30s
