Connection timed out!

Dude! I have just started playing yesterday, and after a long nice session using the Ender updater client -the last as far as I have read- I could not log in again. It keeps saying "connection timed out" or "cannot reach server" and, sometimes, something about me being already logged in. When I close the client, I check if the java is closed, to kill it if needed, but nothing. Also, I was running Java 7, so I switched to Java 6, but no cigar. And finally, I tried reinstalling, deleting Java's cache, used CCleaner, prayed to the Ancient Gods and the New, I wept, and finally, I am here...
The strangest thing: I have noticed that I have trouble opening the forum or the Salem main page. I have to refresh a few times before they load. It is not so with any other page, my speed seems to be good.
Anyway, I hope you can help me, I really liked this game.

Ender updater client

Issues with custom clients should be brought up with the respective programmer. Help! and Bugs & Technicalities are for game play issues and the default client. I saw you posted the same thing there already and I left you a couple things you can check.
