That wooden floors isn't ugly, I wish we could pave it by fresh boards how heff mentioned about it in past.
But I like this carpet's idea and I would love if animal's and monster's skins will be able to placed on the ground somehow like that:

Reduce the chance for reduction for pemmican a little.
Compared to deviled beavers he is not effective and is as hard or harder to make (besides it was kinda important for the period and nobody uses it for salem).

Change pemmican meat recipe from rabbit to deer
Historically pemmican was made out of bisons/elk/moose deer are closer to that besides this could justify reduction time improvement.

Nerf cranberry sauce and allow jars to stay after consumption.
