I really would have liked for the stuff in the backpack to not be dropped on knock out too, it would made it useful to carry your tools around with you without worrying about losing it all if you get knocked out. :/

That was a momentary confusion based on some outdated wiki writings. I think it's cleared up now.

Well, the problem is actually being an "Unofficial" wiki where we have to beat the hard facts out of the devs or black-box the algorithms ourselves. :P
I will admit that updating the wiki after a bug fix is discovered or a new patch isn't always the first thing that pops into my mind. Trying to stuff information into the wiki (and keep it updated) has been one of my goals since joining the testing, and I've been slacking on it the last few months.
