Another idea on corpse clearing:
Have uninterred skeletal corpses raise from their slumber at the birth of a blood moon. These skeletons have HP based on their scalp score when killed. If left alone, they will simply randomly wander and fall again once the blood moon has passed, but if destroyed then they will fall to a pile of bones and be done. Some sort of aggression radius should be in place for them to walk towards player characters and begin attacking, with their damage again based on live scalp score.
This will allow for trophy corpses to be maintained (suggested to wall them in and perhaps set up ringside seats for amusement value during a blood moon) ... not sure if there should be some sort of negative effect on live descendants of wandering corpses during this period in order to provide some sort of additional incentive to actually re-claim the corpse of a loved one.
