never been to a comic con, why are the tickets limited? the vast majority of conventions i have been to you simply paid at the gate, got your pass for the weekend or whatever and then come/go as you please the only exception was stuff that had live entertainment, or lots of speeches etc

It's the international comic con, the civic center is ginormous and yes very packed. You have to get tickets in December like the moment they allow for purchas. The ****** thing is the tickets are non-exchangeable. And it's limited to one account per ticket.

I know it is. My best friend gets two comps to do two at the same time and buys them the moment they open up.

If you register they sometimes let you buy the tickets that got returned.

****** thing is after a certain point you can't return the tickets. And you can give them or re-register them to somebody else. My best friend broke up with his woman befor the trip, so we have a ticket that nobody but her punk ass can use:/

Just an fyi.. there's a lot of stuff going on outside of Comic-con for those who couldn't get tickets. I've heard it was worth seeing if you're into that kind of thing. http://www.outsidecomiccon.com/
