JC has a life, a new child, and a career that requires his attention currently after he has dedicated over a full year of his time to doing nothing but improving the game, salem and your 3 dollar hat boxes do not pay the bills for any dev here their real jobs do which is also what pays for the games upkeep and new things that are not done in house, it is all a labor of love and this game was purchased at a significant investment out of their pockets solely to ensure that it was never shut down when jorbtar and co were about to say ***** it, pull the plug and return to haven.

he will return when he is ready, which i am told is not to far off in the future. in the meantime since 95% of you have not experienced even half of the game yet you should stop ***** and enjoy the game until he has time to make new **** to troll you with.

if you want to hasten his return perhaps you should encourage more strife and conflict since for a dev the joy of watching their ants run around the farm eating each other is the entire motivation and reward they get from their efforts.

I make an offering to JC's tear cup so that he may return sooner, here is my story of stupid stunt #... can't keep track xD Despite the stupid stunts setting me back though the game keeps pulling me back so clearly they've been doing something right in terms of fans of this particular niche.

I had just returned to fill my craving for the game, and decided to wander the wilderness in search of nothing in particular. I've always liked exploring, you see, and I saw the seasons change and set off to find some of those exploration events, and bumped into a few as well. But then I got a suggestion *cough* to perhaps try crime of the wait for expedition #2 was too boring, and so I said ***** it, and jumped right into that barrel of fun without really knowing anything about the crime system.

Step 1 : Find clearly abandoned pclaim with nothing but stickfence, try the claimstone but have it bug out and not bash it (still not sure if i need to have an axe/pickaxe equipped to bash a pclaim on provi). Either way the char just humped the stone and nothing happened, so I ran off the debuff, came back, saw some phat lewts (for a noob like me, noob, not newb) and shiftclicked it xD My 150ish BB could not take the crime hit and thus i KO'd, starting out with a madness of 2-3 or so.

Step 2 : Raise a derpy crime alt to save the first char, with a mere 80bb and up to waste, attempt to bash the claimstone again and have it bug out and do nothing again, become convinced it's not expired indeed. Attempt to send home, no go, attempt to at least walk the body off claim to get inventory and clothes back, no go, not enough YB. Give up, log back in a day later to a dead char (damn you madnesssss), try the claim's mine for lewts, no lewts to be had. Try the claimstone again because why not, have it break Say goodbye to the "main" that wasn't that developed and move on xD

Well well well, things seemed to have really changed around here. I actually messaged JC and told him if he needs any projects done like anything 3D Modeled, I could help out. I'm just glad the game is still alive and playable.
