across the entire country most american squad cars have an ar15 and shotgun in the car in addition to the officers sidearms along with body armor and other **** in the trunk.

since i know about firearms it is second nature to look at what various countries are carrying when these things happen, european police departments are typically about 30 years behind the curve with weapons tech, and our own police departments are about 10 years behind the civilian market.

Europeans see police armed like this EVERYWHERE but generally they are positioned at travel terminals and large events. They are as armed and maybe more so than American Police.
