i have to say though that really is a great concept for intelligence gathering, get legions of retarded millenial patsies to go pan their cameras that they can not live without every which way looking for pokemons in areas you want more information

I use to be like you with old phones till recently this year when I needed a "smart" phone for work. I was very surprised to learn that a majority of apps out there and especially games require that you give them the same information as Pokemon GO. It's another example of the media fear mongering something that has been around for years.

well just because lots of apps have similar clauses does not mean the issue is not a real one, things like that along with idiots posting their exploits on facebook is why police can effortlessly track the dumber criminals now 5 minutes after they do something and triangulate where they were every 3 minutes between cell tower pings.

the interesting part to me was not the disclosure policy, it was the way the game is apparently played with a camera and the intelligence community based roots of the background companies. so whether it is currently just a game or not we still have a situation with millions of unaware surveillance "bots" constantly updated with real time gps coords, personal data and camera feed the only thing that needs be done now is utilize it for the purpose.

but then again i am one of those guys that has a faraday cage wallet so "the man" can not tell how much cash i am carrying when i walk through a metal detector and that department stores can not read the rfid tags on my credit cards.

lol this is true. You can however turn the camera off and it will give you a lovely little pokemon forest background.

I just have seen Terminator:Genesis last days.
And the first thing that came in my mind was two sequences of it.
1. When a guy was so excited to get Genesis soon, because it is so suuuper cool that it will connect all his devices by itself and such stuff
2. When Kyle said "Never forget, Genesis IS Skynet!"

The App itself is surely a great idea... i'm not worried about such ideas.
I'm just wonder about humans, how easy they are catchable.
It now just need such a super cool app in connection with a bad minded society.
