At least twice a day folks at work say they are going for 'air'... with their Smartphones. Most are now thinking bicycle vs walking (for eggs?) and specials... thus my prediction they will be worse than any texter... wandering into traffic and have no ***** clue as they are run down for complete ignorance of environment!

So, I've been playing a few days now. Picked the blue team today, drove to a portal farm and managed to get some items from pokestops and try one of the gyms. I had to look up online how both worked, I hope they get some tutorials into this game soon. I'd say it's doing a pretty good job of fulfilling it's purpose of getting me to exercise since I've gone on a walk every day/evening so far looking for pokemon, but it looks like I'll have to spend a lot more time at portal farms farming items or I'll run out of pokeballs soon. I'm not very good at hitting them and it seems a bit unfair that the balls get used up when I miss.

I'd say it has the potential to be better. I started Ingress because I wanted something that would encourage me to go on walks. Ingress didn't really do it since the energy gathering was too quick and easy and the portals mostly had to be driven to. With the pokemon taking the place of the ingress energy and having to collect them much more slowly and track them down it is definitely more interesting to walk around my boring neighborhood now.
