I do, however, think that there needs to just be confirmation page that you're directed to when you click "Buy" that simply says: "Don't ***** cry if you lose this." in big bold lettering, with a button you click that says "I agree to not cry if I lose this, and if I do cry, I give jorb and loftar permission to drink my salty tears through a straw." so it's completely idiot proof.

Yes warning would be nice, but for sometime items should be tied to person who paid for them and after that time is over player should get another warning with even bigger letters and OK button :)

I disagree. This would just lead to more problems once the person is killed, because they'd then be able to say "But wait! That was supposed to be tied to me, so I should get reimbursement, and have all that **** transferred to my new character." Which would effectively make this a non-perma-death game...

sounds like the poster is the guy that trained the bear to town to me (if this happened at all), he has to much false indignation to be anything other than someone seeking attention for his own actions.

you are taking the element of the situation and tieing it into everything that has to do with "in -game purchases" this kid was legitimately bug exploited out of his item, do I think that he deserves compensation, yes if he goes about the right ways of doing it which in my opinion would be contacting paradox, and possibly canceling his payment.

does this apply to everyone? no of course not this is a minor issue that should be addressed, and even if he isn't compensated then I'm sure paradox will discuss with him next steps for the payment he made.

demeaning the OP's post to lessen the issue good job.

Boston/Roanoke/Jamestown hubs are meant to be safe havens, its literally a scam for him to load into Boston purchase his item and then lose it because of a fair wind exploit. It doesn't make sense.

argue this if you wish. goodnight (:

Few days (1 week maybe) != forever and time shouldn't reset after inherit, so even if he die and then create new char he won't get full bind time again, it would be simplest solution.
