I read a shocking sentence a few pages ago about infrastructures in middle east.
I need a poll to know how worring is this sentence.

- The ones that think that middle east is a poor land of childs that needs hospital and schools and whatever "good building" one can think, raise the hand.

- The ones that knows that middle east is full of metropolis, skyscraper, infrastructures like any western city and it jus lack a bit of it in the most rural parts, don't raise the hand, since they aren't confusing middle east with Africa.


That was a bit shocking to read, but i can't exclude that this could be a common idea for you. Please, proof me the opposite.
(I will not argue the "if we build hospital, they are happy and stops the war", since it show how he have no idea of what they want... Even when they declare it loudly...XD)

India and Africa also have lots of wealthy cities, big skyscrapers and mansions. Please tell me more about how it helps the general population.

This is another example of Sharia Law gone to **** and dead wrong. I've been educated recently that Muslim's are inherently evil; but I do support tougher screening to catch idiots like this and let them bother some one else.

Rather behead the crowd that cheered on... let the youngster mature and make her own adult mistakes.

Doesn't the US already have a penalty for dead-beat parents... sounds like this one would qualify... considering?

Well, that's like build an hospital in Siria (before it was bombed by USA).

Middle East is not Africa. And the same Africa have to be split in 3 main areas, or we can get confused by the quality of life.
The quality of life in Siria was normal. A few years ago you could go there as a tourist and that would be like go into a normal foreign country. That's not comparable to the major parts of Africa.
The difference is mostly in the culture, not infrastructure.

I'm sure you agree with me that a "school" or a "hospital" have nothing to do with this war and it is something that fits Africa more. To me, it looks like the autor of that "hospital buildings" post have a bit of confusion about what countries we are talking about.
According to what i read here, middle east is a poor country with famished people and dying children without school and knowledge.
That's a distort vision of middle east and highly untrue. Is like say that Sicily is famished and poor.

The reasons for this war have to be found somewhere else. Not in the "modernization" of the life in middle east.

First of all it was never about hospitals and skyscrapers to begin with - if you would read what Tmeow actually wrote instead of ripping it out of context you would notice, that it was about bringing ideology by "amazing" people and showing them the possibilities and opportunities of "foreign" culture. Hospitals were just an example.
Secondly, my point was, that hospitals and skyscrapers are not the indicator of quality of peoples lives. Like I said India is up there on the list, and yet they keep on killing own daughters.
