If my country's news reports are correct though, the UK will stay in the Shengen agreement and thus still allow europeans to fly in and get work for 3 months then either stay as illegals or ****** off for a 3 month timeout. Another issue is their own people that are living abroad freely atm and might get deported back to the UK. All in all how this plays out depends on how well the UK government can negotiate, but I personally feel like people are just blowing frustration into a vote and praying for the best. Even if it plays out well for them it's still the equivalent of playing that one stabby game between your fingers for a wager. You might be okay and win at the end of it, or you might've mutilated yourself slightly. We can only wait and see i guess.

I really hope this is followed by Scotland breaking away from the UK.

Well people talk about it.
If it really is only 60% then it's probably nothing to worry about, but some sources say that Scotland relied a lot on the EU for its economy. If it is so and they don't find a suitable substitute they would need to rely on money from London, and based on the response the independence might once again become an open question.

That was Scotland, not Ireland and they were voting to leave the UK. I believe that was a very close vote with Scotland deciding to stay with the UK.

The funny thing is it seemed like one of the big reasons that they stayed in the UK is the EU wouldn't give them guaranteed immediate membership if they left the UK.

just more out of context snapshots, he went to scotland and delivered a speech at one of his properties. i watched a portion of it and indeed the crowd of both scots and brits were quite amped up about englands vote, there was no confusion between the two countries for the few minutes i took a peak.

besides who cares even if it was accurate at least he did not claim to invent the internet like some folks, i had heard very little about this vote leading up to it and unlike the average euro that loves to opine on american politics i know little about european politics and care even less. i do however know for a fact that this is one of the best things that the british have done for themselves in decades.
