I am seeing echos of butt-hurt all over the internet over this, this is hilarious.

BREXIT is the best decision the Brits have made in a long time.

The EU, I think, formed mainly under economic pressure to make it easier for countries in the EU to trade with each other. Trade and travel between EU nations is not that different from trade and travel between states in the US now, with very little restriction and almost everyone using the same currency, the Euro. But it also comes with a lot of restrictions on each member country so that they aren't nearly so independent as they used to be.

I think one of the UK's biggest issues was the immigration, with a lot of the people not liking that anyone could just immigrate from anywhere else in the EU any time.

Now that they've voted to leave they actually have to officially inform the EU and negotiate their leaving, which could take years. The big question now is the economy. The EU might try to punish them for leaving to discourage other nations from doing so by giving bad trade deals. Or maybe the UK government will manage to suck up enough to get good trade deals. Another problem will be all those immigrants and what to do with them.

That's how much I understand of it. Probably a lot more than just that going on.

Easy. Deport them back.
Just maybe 10% of all refugees that come to EU are real refugees. And im being generous with statement.
There is a problem with them that lies in their flawed logic. All of those people are runing from their ****** countries, their ****** ways and their ****** heritage. And yet, instead trying to change and addopt to western society and western rules, they stay the same making western countries more ******.
None of them are doctors, none of them are engineers.
They are educated enough only to be manual labor.
Britain does not want that. My guess is that british people do not mind immigrants, but they mind leeches. And all those refúgees are exactly that.

Ah ok thats what I figured. I always assumed it was mostly made for trade between the states. Is this the first step to the UK becoming the dystopia that everyone always dreamed?

That's the big question.
I assume they won't retain a tariff-free access to the single market, so they would need to forge many trade agreements anew.
The general idea is that this might lead to a closer partnership with the US.
The second thing that comes to mind is the situation with Scotland. These guys are all pro- EU, so they are not exactly happy with the decision. Even if nothing comes of it, they still do create political tension.

It might be the first step toward the EU breaking up entirely.

According to the vote, they are only about 60% pro-EU.

Most thing we all do at the moment are very speculative.
I guess we should wait until the governments made their plans now how to handle this situation, before we start again to argue about the good or bad of this decision.
Nobody knows if the britain economy or the EU itself will going down now.

Maybe it was a good decision for both sides.
If we are honest, UK got always their extra benefits in the EU, and nothing of them was good enough.
So, maybe both sides are going better with the new situation.
