not sure if your talking to me, dallane or both but if me.....

in my defense i DID say that i had only read like two sentences of the thread (and later that i was not sure who was arguing for/against what upon skimming it) because these threads are just tedious and aggravating by now for me, saw you mention a gatling gun, saw flame mention something, dont know what but know he is someone thats afraid of gun ownership, saw you start playing devils advocate with the stats and so on. pretty much all i had time for and is as deep as i wanted to go.

in any case if you support my right to hunt deer with my upcoming cannon purchase and to wield my "assault weapons" for sport and/or against those who would do me or mine harm than we are on the same team. if not you are a filthy scumbag jerkwagon etc.

You can hunt dear with anything you want and as 'assault weapon' is a meaningless term I can't support anything having to do with it, but you are welcome to shoot, hunt, defend yourself, or just scare off liberals all you want with your semi-automatic firearm capable of accepting a detachable magazine and having a pistol grip.

When Claeyt does it, it's hard to believe that it's not some kinda elaborate joke he's playing on all of us. Reading this article and the follow-up literally made my head hurt thinking that people really truly can write things like this and be serious.

The flippant reference to PTSD because he felt a little irritable. A panic attack alone makes you think you are going to die, not feel a little shaky. The snarky comment about the First Amendment showing an utter lack of understanding of both it and the Second Amendment; horrifying.

I cringe to think that people with this kind of warped mindset can actually have a hand in deciding what happens to the rest of us and how we live. I feel like we should make people take a competency test to vote.

If i read "what i say" from your post, your sum is that i have fear of guns. How silly.

I can't have fear for something we don't have as a culture. You should focus a little bit more on what i write, not on the "i read what i want to read".

I know you probably fight against liberal or the other faction almost every days. You hear people say the same things repeating themselves like a broken cd. The same sentences over and over. You prolly are disscusing this since you've born.
Some time more. Some time less. During elections, a lot. Away from election, a little.
But also, remember that i'm not a liberal, nor a...the name of that other ones. (bad memory)

My point of view is MY point of view, formed by my culture and my country habit. You can disagree it, of course. You can't say that my point of view is the same as "the others you talk with", though.
Since there's no way we are the same. We live too much far to be the same.

On the "fear" topic, half of my family died. None of them from a gun.
Cancer. Oldness. Car accident. Starvation (don't ask, it's weird). And so on.
No one shocked me with a gun, so no weird fear. My dad was a police man. My brother is a firefighter. Actually guns are not weird in my house.
Even so, i have my personal idea of what should be done in a society of humans, to prevent certain things.

I'm using the plain logic, so you can easily argue with me. I will not fright out screaming against a gun. ;P

I love the follow up its so insane its funny.

But what if a weapons manufacturer could fashion a handgun that would fire a nuclear blast — an atomic version of an AR-15, if you will. It would look like a gun, but it could kill thousands instead of dozens. Like a rifle, it's one of many arms that we are allowed to keep and bear. But would we really stand idly by as people buy a nuclear gun in the name of the Second Amendment?
