I've seen Dan act like a **** 0 times on this board the entire time I've been playing the forum game. Four entire years and I've not seen him act like a **** once. You on the other hand are the very definition of it. Of course [Darwoth's] racism makes him a bad guy. Why wouldn't his racism make him a bad guy?

I have, by chance, lived in mostly white areas for much of my life. There was no black community/culture in the town I spent my teenage years in, but there were a few black families in the area and I knew some of the kids, school and church and such, and they were quite decent, nice people. I tried to get one boy to ask me on a date because I thought he was cute but he was either oblivious or not interested, I'm not sure.

I later became rather more well-traveled and a few times ended up in the wrong parts of places like Houston and Chicago and New York and I have to say... racism most certainly goes both ways. Does that make a large percentage of black people just bad? There was the time in Houston when I took the wrong exit and suddenly I was in a close, run-down neighborhood, with very narrow streets and this group of people standing on the curb just staring at me as I went by with this unreasonable hostility. The kids in one of the yards looked like they'd seen an alien. The old couple in the porch swing looked mortally offended by my presence. They all knew nothing about me but that I was white and they were black and they hated me for it. And it seems to be an attitude that is encouraged by the black community/culture in general, that all white people are an enemy. Terrifying. But I refuse to accept that they were bad people as you suggest.

I honestly don't think Darwoth can be defined as 'racist' since he seems to be against, not black people in general, but certain subsets of the culture. I have to say I'm against those subsets too and they need to be diffused or changed somehow if we're to really get anywhere. You rant about racism like it's okay to not feel safe driving through a black neighborhood and we need to tolerate it and pretend that being hated is something we deserve because it's somehow racist to suggest otherwise. I think people who think like you are more a part of the problem than any solution.

I haven't argued with you about guns once in this thread. If anything I can get behind some things you say on that topic, as I already mentioned before.
Once again, for the thousands time, it shows your reading comprehension.

As for myself, I could care less about what Darwoth thinks. As an American, he can think and say whatever he wants. I may not agree with it, but it doesn't directly involve or offend me, and it is in his right to be so, so he can say and think whatever he wants. I was more interested in the discussion involving the availability of firearms as it relates to violence and gun crime. The world doesn't suddenly get more violent because you have a gun.
