To me, when a civil HAVE to defend himself, it means the government fails in his simpler task. Society.
So i would immediately point the finger to the government and say "You, dumb *******, sitting on your boring chair, do your job!!"
It would not come in my mind "You, government, give me more weapons!" because that's not what i would ask to my defender, actually.

This, when i say i had an hard time (in these years) to undestand why you were arguing so much on something that was simple to me.

Yeah but that's arguing semantics. If someone says "anytime, anywhere" you know exactly what they mean. They mean meeting one on one in a secluded place on a time convenient for you both.
You just take it literally and argue about being right, but everyone knows what was meant, and what it means to invite a person to a place you know full of people you know in a situation like this.
Once again its ironic that you call him a chicken, but I guess thats just how your brain works.

A punch is just a crack on your face. It usually does nothing else. Even if we switch in a parallel dimension where both darw and clay have broken teeth, this topic would look exactly the same.

Less gun deaths, more poisoning, stabbing, clubbing, strangling, convenient "accidents," etc. etc. etc.
If it's death you want to argue, then the old saying "Guns don't kill people, people do" applies here. Human beings are better at killing than anything else they do. We find some incredibly creative ways to do it too, and we don't need guns to do it.

Plus, a blade is so much more personal than a bullet anyway. Much quieter too. Hypothetically, one could hide in an alleyway or some other dark quiet place and pick off people silently as they came into it and then move on when it gets more difficult to hide the bodies or disguise them as congregating homeless people. With that kind of tactic, a serial killer could probably rack up a larger kill count than a mass shooter as long as he doesn't slip up and get caught. I can imagine most of the "shoot up the place" types don't have the kind of patience that would take though. What's more terrifying? Some guy with a gun that will most likely kill himself or get killed in a police shootout? Or someone who quietly picks off a few people and then moves on to do it again another night? I guess the gun is louder and makes people frightened of being in crowded public places, but frankly the headline "stabber still on the loose in your neighborhood!" is a bit scarier to me.

Went ignored. I notice now there is a trend where he picks the bits and pieces he wants and leaves the bits he can't cope with ignored. Of course now, if he actually has something to say on the subject of killings in which firearms are not involved then I'm guessing this forum is all ears. I'm willing to bet it will go ignored again though.

There is a massive difference between the two. I don't even think the ridiculous 50+ round drums have even been used in shootings. I've used them before and they are generally terrible and jam all the time. I always thought that the standard 30 round magazine was used.
