Bridges

So, I was swimming across a large body of water last night and thought that bridges would be a nice feature to add to the game. Essentially, you'd have a ramp that would need the ground near the water way leveled. the ramp would be elevate the bridge highe enough for boats and people willing enough to swim under them to pass through.

This would be cool, in many ways of enabling it.

For example, having the game client know how deep water is and needing X amount of resources for Y depth you could build fancy bridges.

Another idea is a boat and dredge, in which you can pump dirt to the ground and raise it up. This of course would require the boat to have an inventory that can store large amounts of dirt thou. Or perhaps store the dirt in the Dredge and that can be stored in player/boat inventory?

Yeah, I was thinking that the materials required to build the bridge would scale depending on the depth of the water.

Water might not have depth. But I think the devs are avoiding water construction for a reason.
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.
