Really depends on your goals if it's worth it.

The ark is doable. It'll take roughly a month at 100 trees a day. Which is doable for a group, even a small one.

Animals definitely are worth playing around with so you know how to keep them alive.

Yes. Check out the current deal on how animals will get on Provi. If you build a character high enough which won't take long at all then you can get in line for animals.You can also recover your character fully if you pray to the statue enough.

There is plenty of time left with Popham to have fun and learn the game.
