Splashing walls

Postby Goldenx » Fri May 20, 2016 4:14 pm

Hello,
I've been wondering for a while now, how does splashing walls work? Since a lot of people are talking about it and I have no idea, the only things I know is that if I build a makeshift wall and I destroy one segment after a few weeks all of the wall starts decaying and all of it collapses, but can I build a makeshift wall around a stone wall or plank wall, hit the makeshift wall and by doing that damage the stone/plank wall? I'm sorry if this isn't clear enough but I'm lost in this, thanks in advance! :D

Weaker walls never splash onto stronger walls. Stronger walls will splash onto weaker walls. Same strength walls splash on each other as well, even if its not connected, by up to 6-7 tiles, with less chance of splash each tile further apart.

Thanks! And is it true that destroying walls on my claim is easier than with no claim/claimed by others?

Correct, on a PClaim the owner completely ignores soak value stat that would slow down the breaking of the wall.
