Did you draw a cat hanging there? Really what do you think of Japanese people?
As for America we almost always have a beef, pork, chicken, then fish right beside a section dedicated to fruits and vegetables. The fact is America has many different cultures and in our populated places you can find a grocery store just about every culture.

I know of two British grocers, and Indian grocer, Muslim grocer, and a Chinese grocer within 5 miles of me.. I am not sure if this exists in other countries but I am willing to bet it is not as frequent. The beauty of America is that in populated areas we are very diverse.
Ukrainian market in the next town over from where I live. I used to go there to get food that was not in fact Ukrainian, but was actually from india, china, and japan. The actual ukrainian stuff was kept behind a counter in the produce section and it was mostly sausages, cheeses, and dried fish. I used to go there to get squid jerky, those little plastic thimbles of jello, and tea. Oh and ukrainian dry sausage.
