As a weapon that can deal out some serious damage to animals (one rifle shot for a deer, about three or so for a bear), and seriously cripple a player, the mechanics as they are are fine.

If not a reload stance, at least make it so when you right click the gunpowder or musket balls an option to (load) the object into the gun pops up so I don't have to drag it all the way to my gun UI then back into my inventory/backpack, etc. UI.
This would also allow the player to move with the mouse to cancel the reload and not use the atrocious WASD keys or worry about dropping their gunpowder/musket balls.

Add skill with which we could add powder/balls into gun. Why not ?
Oh, wait. Its too hard to add.... and make life too much easier

Besides that, it's a powerful equalizer and strong weapon. Exactly why it's % based damage.

And why should titans be frowned upon so much? It's hard/time consuming to make a 1-2k + bile character right now(unless you have fruit or w/e, in which it still takes some time)

If 4 people with guns decide to throw batarangs all at the same time in front of them for example, how do you expect to dodge something so easily because if even one hits you, boom, enemy turns on at the ready skill, fires; your titan is gone, and the enemy never even tried/lifted a finger to actually be a good pvp'er(who the hell cares to reload at that point).

Thats a problem with batarangs not with guns.
If 4-6 well trained citizen soldiers shoot your dumb ass it should be dead, unless you are really lucky, no matter how fat you are.
Might aswell make thrusting people with sabres do %dmg too. Anyone would die from 4-6 gaping stab wounds.
