Salt waters

Postby Goldenx » Sat May 07, 2016 4:25 pm

Hello,
Just a simple question, salt waters are only in the east of the map? (Just the ocean) Or can it be found anywhere to the west? And if yes, then how do I know that it's the salt waters I found?

I've heard that shellfish traps catch lobsters only in salt waters, did they lie to me? :D

If you are trying to get coarse salt you can find it on the beaches, in a mine occasionally when they spawn, or on the ground sometimes on clay/lime pits.

In terms of fish, there is sea fish and then river/lake fish.

In terms of fish traps, you need to be next to the ocean to get lobsters. All other shellfish are obtainable anywhere else.

as pointed out by Max, no they are not. There's a difference when fishing in lakes/rivers/oceans, etc.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

yes, for example, you can only catch sea bass, mullet, tuna and halibat in the ocean. you cant catch that fish in rivers and lakes.

One more question then, can a whale eat me while I'm swimming with a canoe? I really don't want to die in such a dumb way, when I reached so much :D

the whale will swallow you, and you'll have to make your way through his stomach if he does.
Only if you remain in his stomach for an entire week will it kill you. If you're pushing for the exit (ignoring shiny things along the way), you can probably make it out in 10-15 minutes.

Well never thought that being swallowed by a whale could be appealing, with the shiny things you mentioned.
