I am not sure if this has been suggested before, if so, sorry for repeating.

I think it would be very practical to have a "stall area" within towns so that people can exchange items. The town stalls would look like the player stalls in prov but without the price tags as the purpose would be to donate items to the town. That would really facilitate exchanges between town members, I believe, and it would make a very cool area to hang out in the town as well :p

Private Town stalls could put some fairness into city´s ¦]
If everyone have one task to do(they master something or its they job in town) - "fairy" exchange inside town
I would add something to this :D
-One big stall with 10´000 places or so, with possibility to "sell any buy"
-Prices set MAyor of town
-Items which was sold are instantly ready to sell (I sell 5lards into stall, then stall have 5 lards, which another guy can buy)
Of course this could be used for storage items(in bad meaning), so should be somethng as "upragde storage place" - with build more "connected storage buildings"

...Add to this offline system message to town, and town will be more practise ^_^

EDIT. Oh, and maybe not using silver for exchange items, but special "Town Tokens" - made from silver by town Mayor(every mayor could name tokens another ex. "Bodzio Town Tokens" / "Popes Tokens" etc.) - this will provide for unfair buying items from town ¦]

Its been suggested before but no idea what the current stance on it is.

Seems to me this is just a OP way to store items without the need of sheds. I see it being abused very badly.

Good idea for future "friendly" cities with trade to all.
Let it work on the common stall basis to keep the mechanics.
- new city rights to allow some ppl build it
- adjust capacity & materials so let it be only 20% better than sheds (5x shed materials, 4x shed capacity)
- cheap upkeep paid from the city cash to the central gov (to pay for that 20% extra space :P )
- tax returning to the city more than in providence

im lazy, but it seems easy to calculate all tricky so its impossible to get cash back by buying from own stall with an alt to get cash back for the upkeep.

i thinks same..

maybe so other players can travel "trade area" other Town ? but
- block make maps
town prepare small area trade for other players and cant invite team / or in team traver

delete for "where town exsist" :P


or NPC what "got all trade thinks" and go to other town offer (random) itp

list choce "This town offer ... or this offer ..."
List town and offer :P

What is wrong with just having a few sheds designated as a place to put things for the town's use? If we did this, we'd have to limit the space and make the 'stall' large enough that it takes up about as much space as a similar collection of sheds for the same storage space. And probably keep it to one per bell. Except I think the interface with sheds would be better overall.

What is wrong with have Town stall ?
Some ppl could be parasite - just take, dont give.
Towns arent always family(or friends) villages <.<
Lets think about towns, where ppl dont want to share with everything. Town stall could make life better, but - yes we can do just raw trade - exchange using chest or shed ¦]

What if hmm one bigger guy or already town will build this stall. They could invite other players, and these players could make near they own bases and trade using central stall with other city members.
Something like old Greece.. Like few state-city cooperated each other, but they are separeted

This could give some nice options to put into game
