lumplore's raving ranting blog on and off again...

Test test, is this thing on?

Just introducing myself, less than a week in, now I love gaming again. Every so often I get tired of all my games, this time including my main one for five years. Next in my cycle is designing my own game, which I did, my best yet with potential. Then I stumble upon another gem, like this worthy wondrous Salem, my new fixation and fun. Learning by doing, the hard way, after reading the short to the point manual, referencing wiki and diving into this forum. Drooling over permadeath, destruction, watch your back and no take backsies. Overwhelming, but in a good way, proving richness and flavour. Here's to my first post witnessed by you gracious hosts. Back to game on, be well and keep your stick on the ice eh!

It's a fantastic game. Just needs more players.

Tell your friends. Stream it if you can or if you don't mind being a little unsafe. Play it on YouTube videos.

I like doing it dangerously.

Careful. Once Salem gets under your skin you will never be able to find anything else that can scratch the itch.
Do not argue with idiots, for they will pull you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

When you die, or get murdered, dont complain. Just a heads up, its a permadeath game.

P.S. trust nobody...

This is the girl that wrote a public apology letter because she was scared to lose her toon, she's probably a nice person irl but i wouldn't take salem advice from her. The games fun but its not the hottest new thing, especially now with the changes to raiding.
