is there a reason why snakes are spawning like crazy?

so i just got my g/f to join the game and i relocated for it. it seems where iv relocated is infested with snakes? is this just bad luck with spawns lately or might it be the biome we're in?

could be both lol. that biome are u in atm?

it looks like this, they seem to be spawning a lot in the darker area.

ya there will be alot there. good news is everything else spawns there like crazy also

You are by a game trail and grassland/badlands. I guess that would mean alot of critters.

It is probably worth moving away from the trail a bit (close enough to hunt creatures but not to be hunted by them). Logging in in aggro range of a snake or bear can ruin your day if it is right next to your homestead.

later on, youll be glad of this area though :) etterfangs are about the rarest thing ive yet to not find lol. ive killed about 50 snakes so far and not a single one, and its required to make the antivenom to cure their poison... i stop anything and head for them if i see them. wish i could find an area like yers for em :(

The direction you run when you see a snake is determined by whether you can use Bullrun yet and whether the snake is alone. With 18 yellow bile, bullrun seems to be a guarrenteed one-shot kill if the snake stays still.
