You still cry about the same crap
ROFL- the more you cry out my name- the more fuel you give me to speak my mind!
Doesn't matter in the end- game is dying. Population is dying off. Yeah there are newbies in Planters looking for bunks but they are either dead rertunies or newbs .... days from quitting.
As my own town Mayor who's destroyed three town leantos for players who absolutely disappeared and haven't logged a day in 3 weeks, nor TS, nor a sign in Town, or another else... I know for myself there are more dropping out than sticking around.
Oh- and they didn't rape me blind before they just absolutely disappeared. I had a chest full a store bought tools readily accessible... 3-5 clothing sets to 300's, etc... and still folks are logging out forever because the game seemingly has no future. Two returned all the newbie box kits they hadn't used before bailing completely. Hardly your avg turncoat... No even they as fresh as they are; can see the way **** is going... and I can't argue them back in the game.
JC needs to get his head out of his ass... or the game is done.
I remember making this same argument when Star Citizen was a dream... and now it's in Alpha... and Desert Storm is live...and there are other games.
Exactly what niche of the gaming world does Salem absolutely fill/dominate anymore?!I have some little bit invested and I like the chores somewhat... but I'm the exception.
just asking.. mostly!~
Fix -
1. Admit Pophm was a mistake and end it now. Honor what commitments you can and bring over animals to Providence. New content might bring back other players.
2. Restore the raiding system to what it was or some margin of what it was.
3. Offer more users access to the test server. Might as well be the overworld, dreamworld, or some other world for all purposes vs what the 'real' world is like. That's go to change.
4. Make the game more publicly available via Steam or other. Most vets use custom client but you have to log in at least once for someone to share that with you... and that once is what matters.
Fail to do 3/4 of these and your boast the game can exist forever w/o a single dollar and constant game updates will be put to the test... and you'll have a dwindling population to boot. Folks that move on to Star Citizen and other Salem-like games aren't going to drop them for new updates here.
The time to sink the hook is now... not later.
