I've seen a cougar kill a bear twice. Their stunlock is insane.

I do not agree that the normal animals should kill you, perhaps a harsher setback due to the fact that characters get progressively better but even that is debatable because people can just hunt with alts. In those cases, perhaps make it cause a perma bile damage like the stocks.

What is the rate? I wasn't aware it was common knowledge, please share your data. Then the discussion is on an even playing field.

Oh and darkness creatures can kill regardless of tricks, just a higher chance. I once had an alt running around, Hydrukey, aggroed, charged and killed on first hit. Was a lowbie, but still a death.

The chance to die from jsut beign aggroed and then KO'd standing sitll is very low, by my data it seems to be about a <2% chance.

This significantly increases to ~40% when you do something to bug an animal out.

Sample size: ~450 KO's

Or maybe I'm just tossing numbers out there.

In my humble opinion a nice additional setback of KOing in general would be to drop additional stuff like silver on you (including purse) and also your backpack itself. Maybe the item on your left hand too.

A chance of droping one equipment on the ground if KOed by a player would also make things nice and create more action and drama
