What I don't like is that it has substituted a lot of 'boring swinging on wall grind' to waiting on RL timers. So while its an upgrade, it is far from perfect. There is also a revamp to some Witchcraft notions as well. The general idea is that once Popham ends we will push these fairly large reworks and see how they shake out. In the meantime I'm taking advantage of this 'extra time' that the expedition ticks on to see if we cannot keep refining the system into something better. The fastest way for the player base to 'promote change' on a more fundamental level is to end an Expedition. Primarily because I have little interest in dramatically changing 'core' features of the game mid-expedition for the sake of competition. Even if said competition is near non-existant on Popham, all that would mean is that it should be easy enough to end it for those who really want to light a fire on getting those changes bumped to the front of the line.

you hear that folks? fastest way to get the raid patch is to make popham characters and feed me. i am just starting to get back into the swing of things again after a break as such my fork is ready.

Most certainly a smart way to handle all of the non existing problems. You should probaly hold on to the expeditions for several years Darwoth, that way you can assure refined raiding changes and have a monopoly on expeditions in general, as there would be only one in Salem's life-time.

Bestiality : having sex with animals
Necrophilia : having sex with the dead

It would probably be less fun that getting on with things unless we've misjudged Darwoth and meta-trolling the entire player base by squatting in the way of an update that would make everyone enjoy the game more out of spite is more "fun" to him.

That or he's taking a harder line again on negotiations with "Dr. Darworth's Travelling Medicine Show and Livestock Trading Company". (I know, I know, the stereotypical Snake Oil Salesman is in reality, hundreds of years removed from the game, but hucksters are not. One of the characters in the Canterbury Tales is basically that.)

I blame it on the low drop rate for the membranous wing
