nosfirebird wrote:have i posted idea's on how to improve raiding.... i suggested to put the usage of tea back into it. it was balanced enough when tea was in place. also tea was placed into the game for raiding.

The fact that JC took away tea usage is because he already has a new raiding system in mind in which tea wont fit. All the people that want to raid should take a time off from salem to do other stuff or endure the current situation. There is no point in asking changes to a system that is mostly dead specially since JC already stated that is gonna be changed soontm. Plus adding tea back wont change that raiding is one of the most boring chores in salem.

Pretty much those two. Take a break, or do other stuff you think might feed into "Nu Raiding" or raiding the way it will be.
Look for new targets, assess areas of the map one way or the other, make your main stronger, make your disposable alts stronger, find delicious sugar carts, go on a magical Whale Adventure to get Whale Puke, practice fighting with your townies as individuals, and as a group.

There is a pretty comprehensive system which I like far better on the test server. What I don't like is that it has substituted a lot of 'boring swinging on wall grind' to waiting on RL timers. So while its an upgrade, it is far from perfect. There is also a revamp to some Witchcraft notions as well. The general idea is that once Popham ends we will push these fairly large reworks and see how they shake out. In the meantime I'm taking advantage of this 'extra time' that the expedition ticks on to see if we cannot keep refining the system into something better. The fastest way for the player base to 'promote change' on a more fundamental level is to end an Expedition. Primarily because I have little interest in dramatically changing 'core' features of the game mid-expedition for the sake of competition. Even if said competition is near non-existant on Popham, all that would mean is that it should be easy enough to end it for those who really want to light a fire on getting those changes bumped to the front of the line.

Maybe rush it a little. Lets say "popham" people feel the darkness danger growing so they decide to build 3 times smaller ship to GTFO of there ¦] and ofcourse it requires 3 times less material, maybe it fits less animals but who cares - basic needs, survival instinct. If it would be up to me i would take my goat and use a rowboat to get to providence.

Hmmm.... You are in fact inspiring me to perhaps make some kind of raft called Two Goats One Boat.

And when you finally arrive at Providence you are diseased with necrophilia - which is a crime of course.
The sad thing is that disease cannot be cured. Noble justice bringers of providence can hunt these filthy criminals and beat them to death with rotten tomatos on a pinata pole.

But as this disease cannot be cured it deepens and you can unlock tier 2 necrophilia which allows you to tame bears and deers - who knows.

I think you mean bestiality.

Bestiality : having sex with animals
Necrophilia : having sex with the dead
Do not argue with idiots, for they will pull you down to their level, then beat you with experience.
