What will i find if i walk all South ?
Never been that way but I was going to say, the majority of the biomes anywhere you go are going to be some kind of forest. Then you have marshes, grassland, badlands, swamps, crag, shrubland, and then basically the mountain, and snowy mountain biomes. (Oh, and waterside/beach, although there are differences between lakes, and the ocean. Different fish, whales don't spawn in lakes, etc.)
If you ran into a difficult to navigate cluster of hills, you can probably still get over or around it, but it will be tedious.
And any given way you go there probably won't be TOO far before running into the right kind of terrain, even if it's a small cluster.
Some large areas of the map of course, are mostly one thing due to RNG. There are also some really large lakes and mountains or such, but again, even those can be crossed or skirted.
(Might not be a terrible idea with mountains till you know what you are doing because they can have cougars. Lakes scare some people because "what if I crash in my canoe!. Which hasn't happened to me or even threatened it for over a year now at least.)
