if you are part of the older gaming generation and still don't understand it means you have undoubtedly played numerous pve servers, probably make a new name each game and find a new guild to play with.

it was not an "insert game" community at that time, it was "the mmorpg" community and everyone knew each other regardless of if the game they were playing was the same as the one you were currently in.

then warcraft came along and ruined everything by ***** out millions of incompetant retards that had no concept of anything like pride in your k/d ratio, screenshotting their kills, guild loyalty and so on. now you will find an old school gamer from the days of muds and harsh rulesets maybe 1 in a 1000, and a pk one far less than that.

So this makes you a scary bad guy ? :p (since 2006? including WoW @ 2008)
I've seen it all aswell, no cellphones, black & white tv, no internet, no computer (i bet i had one earlier then you, my parents where wealthy!), does this makes me a scary bad guy aswell now ?
Or should I post years-old screenshots from pvp-servers? scoreboards to raise my e-peen? No, it does not make mine bigger !

indeed, and that is where the 8+ year drama filled saga/war between darkenbane, sbg and die first began.

unfortunately darkenbane died out years ago and DIE faded out later after we **** on them in darkfall one final time, i have been wishing for a worthy adversary since but they do not make guilds like they used to and a decade of bad blood between rivals (all of whom were highly competitive) can't be conjured on a whim.
