Providence Safety Zone?

Is it correct, that Providence area is safe, i.e. that other players can not attack you there? Or is it just the town? Or even not the town?

By Providence area/zone, I mean the area where I can still port to my home.

No pvp in providence, all of the town influence, except for the dock club but you can still get koed/robbed/diseased/cursed/even killed with some bug or overpowered feature noone knows about and that would be nerfed weeks after

As Nikixos said. Be very wary in providence. Dont afk.

Just stay alert in Providence for:
Witches attempting to curse (they do a strange dance and I think have to be about as close as a bear's roar aggro range)
Sick people can make you sick by coughing on you - but they have to be very close.
Fresh dead bodies can make you sick to.
People tickling you - it adds insanity.
Animals (like bears) that are drawn to AFK's in town.

Other then that Providence is a lovely safe place full of rainbows and bunnies.

You are never actually safe in providence but players can not attack you there unless you go to the dock club.

Don't forget the trapped containers. Never open a container that is not a non liftable barrel for trade.

1) Don't lift anything if more than 2 people can see you, because they can surround you and wait till you KO from the loss of yellow bile or phlegm.
2) Another reason not to be afk is that people with higher affluence can push you out of the safe zone or into the dock club, where they can attack you.

Itll still leave scents, but they can still attack in dock club.
