Took me while to realize I should destroy fence rather than fix it ... I think I will need like 1000 dry planks to fix that old damaged fence I originaly thinked was such great idea to use or 100000 food and 100 hours of time.

It is not thaat expensive, but it is made in a way to balance it.

Previously you would have been able to repair a brick wall tile back to full with just a handful of bricks and in a matter of seconds whereas the attacker likely needs hours to bash it down.

Brick is most expensive at iirc 500 bricks for 100%, but the others are not thaaaat much.

This issue you describe could have been fixed by preventing walls damaged by atacker to be reparied in next 24h. Right now repair rates are quite fast so as long as you have 1000 planks in stocks you can fix wall for 2000% = 20 plank walls. I dont think that 1000 dry planks are big issue for people who are crazy enough to keep 24/7 watch of thiers towns. So its not solving the problem you describe.

If walls were not able to be repaired after being bashed, then it removes a whole dimension of defense from defenders toolbox, which while I advocate for less harsh raiding mechanics, think would be faaarrrr to in favor of attackers in this case.
