Gardening!

Postby Chaczins » Wed Feb 10, 2016 1:01 pm

Hello fellas!

I was looking for that info on wiki - as always - but i'm not satisfied.

I know that number of harvested potables depends Herbs & Sprouts lvl.

base yeld is 2. with shovel i can get 3. What lvl of H&S i need to have, to get another +1 bonus when planting? and what for +2?

also, i'm interested in growth time. Base is 3 days. With Horticulture is something like 2 days i guess (don't know exactly, maybe someone knows in hrs?) What's the difference when having green thumb?

thank you all!

For yield , it should be :
Kralith wrote:Base yield is 2, with garden shovel +1

Then with Herbs&Sprouts
>=100 = +1 Chance
>=150 = +2 Chance
>=200 = +3 Chance
>=250 = +4 Chance
...and so on.

With H&S you get only a Chance, it means that you also get pots with +0, +1, +2, +3, even if you have H&S over 250.

For growth time I think you can get to 36 Hours with all skills . I can't check myself my gardener was on Popham (and had an accident)

The growth time depends on the objects being grown: carrots grow more slowly than bellpeppers or mushrooms (by several hours).

The gardener's pots (green ones) knock a few more hours off the harvest time, but I don't have any myself so I can not really test.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

green sthumb should reduce growth time too
36h sounds about right, never actually stopped the time

gardners pot didn't make any noticeable difference on yellow roses (more than 120 days) so i assume it's a fixed value

Is there a similar formula for Stocks and Cultivars?

i think it is your level of stocks and cultivars that is the max plenty bonus
with 300 i've never gotten anything above 300% plenty + but alot of 290%+

yup: the maximum boost for s&c is simply your s&c. I remember there being an old thread on gathering exact numbers and distributions within that range, but I wasn't able to find it with a quick search.
