Aye but you need to specify what it's good for, or newbies will never learn there's another option. Perhaps they don't want to wait a month to be able to kill bears, and maybe they want to get to at least half decent humours quicker to be able to do more. Idk, I just feel there's more to answering the food question than just "deviled beaver, 3 hour foods, go".
Exactly 6.022 x 10^23 worth of Lach molecules.

my play time isn't that limited lol i'd prefer not to be full and fed up for a long time even if it increases by a bunch at once, i suck at math which i guess is why i am having such a hard time

Indeed. The 3 hour foods are by far the 'worst' foods for players who want to level up quickly. They are mainly for those who cannot be bothered by the system and wish to spam some stuff once every 1-2 weeks and then go about their normal base building activities. Those min-maxing fast progression will find there are numerous other better ways to do it.

Ye, I remember I didn't like to glutton so I mostly used those 3h foods with gluttony sessions once a week or so. They simply required less work and for a player who's not taking part in PvP that's enough. Mostly a way to get rid of drinking debuff than actually way to boost stats.

Indeed. I am not sure how I feel about this. It makes me a bit sad that some players do not embrace the system for all it can be. But it does make me happy that instead of just hating an entire avenue of the game they have a 'method' for which to still advance their character that they can live with.

is only one thinks need - restore food -> go 0 full and fed ... because all 100% restore = 2h ... so broken all combo foods :P

Players are meant to find more creative ways to restore their food groups than using the 100% restores. Hence the gluttony penalty for doing so.

I guess it's true what you say about some people enjoying the system for what it is and others having to opt for the 3 hour food spam. I personally enjoyed min-maxing for the sake of it at Popham's start. If i can be bothered next expedition, all of your cookies are belong to me! Until people start with the crazy 50k scores x.x Ain't nobody got time for that. That said, cookies were a good way to incentivize the new gluttony game :) Perhaps have different rankings so that the little guys don't feel left out later on.

Wooden spoon bracket, updates all of the most recent top 10 scores under 2k that week / month.
Rusty fork bracket goes up to 5k
Silver spork : 10k
Half naked concubines feeding you grapes and all sorts of assorted goodies bracket : Retains the very top 10 scores ever.

People can only qualify for cookies on main bracket, perhaps get some random stuff for getting decent scores in other brackets, with a rule that you only get a reward for beating the current best score in the secondary bracket by X% where X% would mean only 5 rewards get awarded total, or less if people get overzealous and hit the top of the bracket exactly, after which a hard cap of 5 total mini rewards per week enters into play. Either way 5 total but no cheesing with 1000, 1001, 1002, 1003, 1004 scores in the 1-2k bracket.

He should be able to take beavers with 60 humours. I think I was stomp, thrusting them at about 30 and minimal gear. Might be hard with only a club, though.

I glutted to 60 on Popham recently with basically bugs and fish and plants. You can keep going with those three but the full and fed up timers get kinda long.
