For the record. Marp is entirely telling the truth.

Basically, I determined that it would be theoretically financially viable to abandon ALL marketing efforts and several months of development costs and INSTEAD buy booths at gaming conventions around the U.S. and Plane Tickets....And of course a "booth Girl" of which I spent many a late night researching youtube female gamers for thier........talent.

In the end, I even got a quantity of these:

Negotiated on discount so that we could hand out goodie-bags complete with our "Salem Oculus-Riftish 3D experience" which was just rubber bands stapled to this device with pictures of Salem screenshots on the click-through slides.

Needless to say. Marp shot ALL of it down.... But I feel it necessary to now share these details with you guys so you can see what the TRUE cost is of having my Grandma's boyfriend on the dev team.

Ya, now that we know it was a thing.. its hard to let go of the disappointment. :(

ahh yes, that is known as the knockoffulous rift. I have been working on an even cheaper version that simply pokes you in 1 eye, marketing has been, well, not easy
