I thought that I would make a pretty good mod as I think mods SHOULD change their behavior once they get the green

I have no reason to troll you, so my post is a real post.

I can tell from experience, Claeyt, that a mod role pushes yourself hard in the darkest side of your anger.
If you're not able to be a mod in real life and you don't seek the justice for your personal belief, you will not be able to hold that justice once it will be heavier than usual with a green nick.
"Justice" is relative, and you may have your way to seek your justice. Anyway, what you are Now is part what you will be once mod, plus a lot of stress.

The "once green i'll be good" sentence is... nonsense. Be aware of human limit. What you are now, is what you will be later.
I have no doubt that you really think what you wrote. I think the same, but "think" and "be" is another matter. I'm aware of my limits as mod, that's why i close my mouth when a certain situation goes on under my eyes. I'm easy to rage, yet i'm seeking justice with or without a mod role. I ask help to others or i make a mess. I'm well aware of my belief and at the same time, of my humanity. I would never say "if i'm a mod, i change".

Is you a mod, inside? Is, the justice you talk about, something that you do without a green nick? Avoid a bunch of section is indeed something you could do, but how to avoid injustice?

"So, you think i can't be a mod?" you may think now.
My answer would be "... i have no idea of who are you."

And, since i don't know nothing about you and the reasons behind your "public role" in this forum, i'll not vote anything. Just... check if you already are the person you would become once mod, or if you're not.
That's useful for you.

This topic, this forum... I didn't did this post for the topic or the forum or your mod role.
That's just a shared Experience from a +10 years mod/admin person with another person. That it like this.

Idk who added the "None of the Above" option, but they're the hero that Salem both deserves and needs right now.

Ah, but it's still missing betty white.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

Removed 'None of the above' option at the request of the OP.

Okay Yoda.

First off I've modded many other forums which I won't reveal as to avoid being doxxed or having problems on those forums. I will say I was a mod on the Salem Reddit group until Dallane joined it and somehow got control of it and kicked me off. I don't know why Suffragim gave him control of it. Anyways go post on it anyways if you have interesting stuff, for the good of the game.

This is just one of the many ways I help promote this game by being selfless. :D

(Disclaimer: This next part is me simply expressing about the mod I would hope to become and is not a swipe at any of the current admins, devs or mods.)

Secondly, I never said that I would change my personality. I simply said that I wouldn't post as I usually do. I personally believe mods should be above the fray on the forums and should certainly not have political/personal difference spread to the forum or other arenas and affect their modding. That's just my opinion and clearly MM has another one. Tmeow is a good example of this philosophy of neutrality. She may dislike me one minute and love the chuckle she gets from my posts the next, but she mostly seems fair in moderation. There was a time, long ago in Salem's 'Age of the Sea Tribe' when some of the MM complained vehemently against politicized modding by 'He who shall not be named Colesie'. I think that I would make a good mod and be able to separate the politics of the game from the forum because I agreed with those sentiments. There's a difference between changing to be 'good' versus taking a step back and being less prominent or "moderate" on the forums so as to promote the forum to new players in a good light... as a mod.

Again, there's a punishment if I somehow fail and the devs and admins could simply choose to give me a trial period and punish me if it doesn't work out.

I would like to amend the third clause to include irl photos of yourself dressed up in various costumes (biker, pirate, french maid, dog, etc...) to be posted in its own thread in CUaH
With that you will have my vote

There's already a pic on the forums somewhere of me dressed as a biker (or at least Cheena said I looked like a biker).

once again everything that you just said is a massive lie or a distortion of the truth.
