I am proposing a membership solely for cosmetic/fun benefits that are by no means necessary and add nothing more than an extra fun factor

I don't understand it.
What makes these suggested rares more fun for your game?
Oh, because all people who have enough money will have it and you are in that "money club" with them? And you are allowed to use the special earth closet of Providence to spit your brilliance after you have drunk that special club beer?

Really... i have to agree with Darwoth at this point:
Do something special ingame and you get your special items! The Devs do such things.
Aaaand let me explain: It is a much better feeling to own an item in reason of a special doing around the game.

You will be in a club of people who remember later to you?... so do something that causes this.
Even Claeyt will be never forget.

And for fun factor: There are so many special things still ingame, just use your possibilities.
Devs make a great job to provide our mood regularly with new items and new funny things.

I never once said rares per se. Since the membership is 5 dollars, the items would be cheap and purely cosmetic. I see nothing wrong with having cosmetic items that serve no purpose except to wear around or have in your house.

You can buy the item to get the subscription from other players, just like other store items. The game needs some more revenue

nope, your a guy that bought an item. you also do not get a slew of "im special" bonuses which is what your are requesting and the reason why simple store purchases are not good enough for you. but feel free to continue intentionally missing the point.

For access to more fun features and a paid member forum name, that does not say you are special. It shows that you are a paid supporter of the game. However, it would be possible to remove the idea of a forum color, as I do understand your dilemma with it.

your right, i have never suggested anything for the game that was not only implemented but improved gameplay.

I see nothing wrong with that either and neither do the devs, which is probably why you can already buy cheap cosmetic items from the cash shop
