Iracus: I tend to help noobs and carebear too much for Darwoth's tastes and Dullane's always been like this. There was once a 32 page thread between me and Dallane, before Dallane became a mod, with the topic of the thread being him trying to destroy the game and have everyone go play something else and me continuously defending and promoting the game to noobs over and over again.

This game attracts a certain 'type' of player Iracus, with certain 'types' of world views. I tend to annoy them endlessly (and I also sort of enjoy it). They hate that I'm almost always right and win most of our arguments.

Needless to say I help many, many new players and am always open for in game questions.

I feel like this is an attempt to undermine not only Dallane as a Moderator, but Mortal Moments and Salem itself by implying that we are idiots. So, I would like to point out that the linked thread was posted in May 2013, when Jorb and Loftar owned both Salem and H&H. Mortal Moments bought Salem in June of 2014, began regular updates in July, and Dallane did not become a moderator until several months later, long after Salem had been transformed.

I wasn't trying to post that this was MM at all and it was a full year before Dallane became a mod. I was just trying to provide a historical reference to the new players. I'll edit it.

But if they'd ban people for being a little retarded in their head they'd have to ban the majority if not all of their playerbase. If we would just ignore him instead of letting him get us all worked up about his posts we might just silence him that way, no banhammer violence needed.
