Unable to launch the application

So I do have Java 7, and when I try to launch the salem.jnlp, there's an Application Error

You're computer isn't successfully connecting to the host site. My first guess is you have security software blocking the connection. This may also include the router(s) your computer connects through. Disable security software or ensure that Java and/or Salem can properly access the Internet. You'll need to make sure ports TCP 1871 and UDP 1870 are available.

Do as I suggested:

First, check security software. It's up to you to flat disable it or configure it properly for the program you're trying to run.

If you're still having issues, check the router you're connecting through. You might need to open up the appropriate ports.

Nobody can give you exact directions as all software is different and the configuration of routers differ between models and brands.
