You simply click the right link.

For Ender's
For Mine

And after that everything should work like the default client.

I'm not entirely sure, but are you able to launch the client at all? If java is refusing to launch the client, open the spoiler below.
If you have Windows and a somewhat up-to-date Java installation, there may be an issue with you needing to trust our upload server (github.io, for both of us AFAIK).Click ,here for a small guide, or do the following steps.

1) open the java control panel (run- javacpl, typically you can also open it by rightclicking the java icon in the bottom right, in your taskbar)
2) open the security tab
3) press "edit site list"
4) add either "http://donnesime.github.io" or "http://enderwiggin.github.io" the list.
5) try starting the client again.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

Using yours.

I had already given the permission to java to accept "http://donnesime.github.io". Client opens with my username, but when I click Login, it says "Connection Refused: Connect."

When I run it, the small window pops up as it is checking for updates, but finds none. It seems to be fine until the connection to the server phase to start the game, then stops.

Any ideas?

hmm it may be that you are behind a firewall or some such that prevents 'weird' ports from connecting over the internet (i.e. only allows http traffic).

Weird that the default client would work in that case.
I'm out of ideas :(

Well, I put it down to being in China, behind the Great Firewall. I use a VPN to connect in the first place, regular connection is not able to go through. I'll keep your client onboard for when I am no longer in China, as I like the options you provide. As well as the customer service!

Thanks!

Along these same lines, is there anyways to adjust what animals/items appear on the minimap? Ever since the rework, mini map is so cluttered.

And magically the client started to work for me today. May have been possible earlier, I stopped checking for a while. Very cool, thanks!
