those bases are probably from before defense buff, or the claims were expired and people looted without crime

He is on providence expired claims still leave a scent. (Just educating you if you thought it was both servers that allow you to loot expired claims without crime.)

thats fair, I have found already 3 - 5 bases like that so Im probably not just lucky. Dont take me wrong here I like that feer of beeing rided thats is ok part of the fun. Im ok if I get raided by people of equal level or maybe bit strohger to who finds my 10 metal ingots and 10 hides a big tresure. Or as punishment to not investing time in defence by weeker dudes. What I dont like is beeing rided by somone who takes 1h to break defences which took 6 month to make just to find out that all stuff I have is trash for him and take my 10 metal ingots and adding them to his pile of he 50000 ignots already has. Its like PVP iniciated by 50 level warrior vs 5 level monk wich you cant avoid.

If you only have 10 bars of pig iron I can promise you no one is going to mess with you. You also should keep in mind some people abandon bases on purpose. Whether I was raided or not I was getting ready to setup a base elsewhere which at that point the base would have eventually been lost.

thats probably not intended by devs to be like this. Economy of the server seems screwed. I like part of the game where one starts from nothing and slowly creates someting but its so easy to loose all randomly and so easy to just randomly find stuff.

Maybe that second server with periodic whipes is better in some aspects than.

If you want that 'fresh start' feeling then I do suggest you try to play the expeditions. Some players very much like the thrill of scavenging the lands and finding treasures from those who have walked before them though.

So I probably missed the post.. but there will be another expedition server? I've been hoping there would be because I wanted to start.. at the start of the expedition, rather then at the point that a lot of people had already given up.
