Alternatively, in terms of the Late Night format sort of comedians, the late (as in retired from hosting) Craig Ferguson has a chaotic sense of humour that seems to click with me nowadays.

The Comedian culture in Germany is very strange and switch between really good and very bad.
Most of them are equal and very mainstream.
My german favorite is not really Stand-Up, but actor, comedian and satirist: Oliver Kalkofe
