I know also a mod is not possible, i meant another map with different game mode, like popham.
Another new map more focused on the survival skills, more hard to survive when travel, more wild animals that kill you and a procedurally generated map....in my opinion would be really nice, maybe where you need to eat and drink, to not starve....i mean a survival mode on Salem...would be very nice. Sorry for the english, it's not my first language.

Lol minecraft isn't endless... There is some limit of how big map can be (I think it's 64 000 000 x 64 000 000 or 1000 times more i don't remember)

EDIT:
"While the map is infinite, the number of blocks the player may walk on is limited. The map contains a world border at +/- 30,000,000 x/z. The world border is an animated wall of blue stripes. As you get near it, the edges of your screen turn red, and you can not go past it. There is nothing past 16 blocks after the wall, just emptiness."
Well indeed it's "unlimited" but there are some java limits and hardware so yeah...

P.S. I google it and i saw the end of the map....wow, i always thought it has no end....so how big is the Salem map in comparison with HnH or Minecraft??

You should read what I said earlier about hnh map. Last I heard it takes around 24hours to move across it.

"Procedurally generated" means that it uses an algorithm designed by the programmer to create pseudo-random maps. Various means of doing this exist from the purely random (dwarf fortress, etc) to games like diablo and spelunky that use sets of hand created maps and then piece together or randomly change features on those maps.

In theory, yeah, they could be unlimited and generated on the fly. In reality, you only have so much memory and storage space for that map, so you have to set limits, somewhere.
