Everything im reading claims FO4 has had all of its RPG elements taken out, you are hand fed endgame armor and weapons at the start of the game as well as having god-like companions from the start. A very small map you can hardly interact with and more.

Has anyone here purchased it ? Does bethesda deserve my money for this game? Have they killed the Fallout experience ?

If you liked Fallout 3, there's a good chance you'll like this one, too. There are still quite a lot of bugs, though, some of them serious (http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_4_bugs), so I'd at least wait until those are fixed before buying the game, especially when playing on console. Skyrim still has at least one game-breaking bug 4 years after release, so I'm not going to assume all will be fixed. The game is poorly optimised with a lot of people reporting frame drops (even on console) and issues with the game's built-in vsync, so there's another reason to not buy it now.

Just buy the game and prepare for 40 hours of fort building simulator.
I mean that in a good way too.

Well i went into a few local shops today and all were either sold out or had none in stock.

In one shop i saw a big advertisment saying "From the creators of skyrim", It kind of made me sad.

Oh well, guess i will be waiting till next week when i can roam some more shops.

Thanks for the Feedback.

Oh and Dallane, the only feedback i read was on Steam, from the 15,000 feedbacks given to the game, almost everyone i read was a bad review.

EDIT: Well i just managed to get a new copy for £32 on Amazon, will be delivered tomorrow. Thanks Prime.

Really looking forwards to it.

Thanks again

The bad reviews that you may have been reading are silly.

It's Fallout, and it's exactly what you'd expect out of a Bethesda game.
Kill npcs, loot npcs, gain levels and perks -> Kill more stuff easier.

This has been their way of gameplay for over 10years now. It's Fallout. Feels like Fallout, looks like Fallout.

and ofcourse there are tons of silly bugs, like ghouls running into walls and disappearing.

I love the reviews of people complaining about the loading times of areas
