You could always make the items a new kind of item and attach hedious weights to them, so this year it will not really be silver that will limit players, but the weight of items.

Have you forgot affluence sets, pushing and tickling ?

i assume JC would make it so every player has a fair chance

last year the event was on Water and the line was 1tile big surrounded by water so no pushing etc.. only thing u would fear is going afk and getting cursed

I enjoyed the event that took place last year!:) But with the new mechanics added it will be a bit tricky this year to make it "fair" for everyone. But if it will take place, it will be fun nonetheless. They might use the race track or a similar setting with the previous one (1 tile in water). I need to test if the pushing or the new mechanics work while swimming. If they don't, pushing someone off might be harder (not impossible). Witchcraft will be present too, with even more dangers.

And completely fair might not be efficient, new players will not be able to afford 10k stuff and might not need to get there.
