anyone still wants to play THAT fallout?

Yes, skills weren't even that good they just made you cram, and forced you, or at the least made other play-styles more demanding, especially without the dlc that bumped up the level cap. Most people would just start with max int to get more skill points per level, and balance out that way.

I always start max luck, with 2nd most in int, then first 20 levels take the +1 stat perk. After that i gained the meaningful perks.

Hope FO4 has alot of max luck stuff ingame.

I just hope they improved the story and dialogue compared to F3, but seeing as how they've adopted the Mass Effect dialogue system, I'm afraid it might even be more "streamlined" than before. The whole armour and weapon modification system looks interesting, though; too bad butter knife wielding raiders can still damage power armour, since they went with DR instead of DT+DR.

Im sure if power armor actually existed i could easily do damage to it with a butter knife, most likely serious complicated damage in specific parts, more worse so than spraying it with 9mm ammo from a mini gun at a distance.

If it actually existed, perhaps, but if you just take in-game mechanics into account, it's pretty ridiculous.

If an actual power armor, which sole purpose is to protect you from all sorts of harm, existed I highly doubt it would be damageable by a butter knife from the exterior. This is just ridiculous, in real life no one is going to spend expensive tech, materials and work hours on something so easily sabotage-able. That's some death star thermal exhaust level ****.

So yeah, Fallout. Some of the beginning of the story has been leaked recently, so if you don't want to have stuff like that spoiled, don't read unmoderated forums/threads.

The more I read about F4, the more it becomes clear they're just making a casual shooter with some RPG elements. I understand they want their audience to be as broad as possible, but it's a shame they're gutting Fallout even more in the process.

Seeing how retarded the story and dialogue were in F3, I don't think that'll save it for me. But yeah, it'll be a huge success again, so whatever.

Edit: Dialogue in action:

Let's hope this is where the it ends or we'll be having dialogue with just a sad and happy smiley before long.

I have been trying really hard not to delve into researching FO4 i just want to play it and make my own judgement.

As long as its IMPOSSIBLE to become a master of everything in a single run through i will be happy, i really enjoy playing the game several times over with different builds to find every little thing and playing it differently each go.

I will be sitcking well clear of wikis, mods, etc for at least a year.

Im really looking forward to building my own little settlements as well, and sending wagons out trading for goods i require, will mean you should eventually be able to get all of your goods you require in your own home town, instead of needing to go to multipul vendors to restock ammo, stims, water, food etc

As Dallane points out, as long as the Theme is still there, It clearly is and i can RPG different players, Trader, smoothtalker, Melee brute, sniper etc, i will be very happy.
