But yes, there should be a rework of the current crime mechanics that finally abolish the need to use alts for even a little theft, this way things could get much more interesting.
Again, simple changes could look like that:
- Make crimes "danger" according to their impact: theft -> might get hurt a little, ...., waste -> that will hurt, ...., murder -> puts your own "life" at risk
- Also, "punishing" and even crippling characters is ok, but murder should be made to be a very last resort that you only would consider if you are really mad at someone, like mad enough to break through several brick walls and hundreds of braziers.
Because right now, theft is about as dangerous as murder, which is outright wrong.
