He could have just collected the scents at his leisure, rebuilt the donut with more defenses and TbC'd them or built another TbF.
To fully claim over the scents of themselves breaking the donut TbF would have meant that they would have had to destroy his whole town which means a full donuted TbF of their own and many more scents and brings us full circle to the same question I posed to Tmeow earlier:
Why should defenders of a town have to TbF another town and leave summonable scents just to defend their own town?
They could of dealt with the issue on day one instead of waiting for a month to do something.

It's mind numbing to think how broken a mechanic it is that you can be off for 14 hours and lose not only the town, but all characters and items in storage under the old bell's claim-stones as well. Why do citizens lose all rights under authority objects they just had permissions under? Doesn't that seem over-powered? How about answering that question Tmeow?
It's not overpowered. As you have been told multiple times the situation wouldn't have blown up had they dealt with it on day one instead of letting darwoth build up.
By day one, are you talking about the day he put up the siege town back in May or the day he put up the donuted TbF protected by the siege town he put up in September?
If you meant the siege town back in May, well then they wouldn't have had to worry about losing their entire town and everything in it at that point because back then Payed Townbells and authority objects weren't destructable. They probably thought Darwoth would use it to raid or donut a TbF so we'll just concentrate on building up our defenses, which seems to me exactly what they did.
It also would have required them building a TbF against his town and having to leave summonable 'Waste' scents to destroy it. What's stopping Darwoth from just rebuilding his siege town over and over as he collects Waste scents from them? Because of the broken stall tax system he could have afforded to rebuild that town weekly if not daily.
They correctly chose to build walls and defense in my opinion. They didn't have the greatest design especially after we all found out that authority objects were destructable but it had solid brick walls and decent brazier coverage at the outside walls.

They were 4v1 and afraid to do anything. That sat there while he ran circles around them and let him go. Juda clearly needs path finding. Vid looks like one of those noobs who can't move around trees then complains on here. They also had to call juda of all people to do anything. Sounds to me like they were very afraid to do anything.
They couldn't do anything because Darwoth is walking over his layered and spammed Pclaims that he put up throughout the village to claim over their own defenses after he took down their bell. I don't know why you and Tmeow keep saying they're afraid to do anything. They clearly are trying to fight Darwoth there but don't want to do it on top of his Pclaim. Juda and Arcadia have been loosely aligned for over a year now. Isn't that one of the reasons Darwoth seiged them in the first place. Why is that weird?

As the river rolled over the cliffs, my own laughing joy was drowned out by the roaring deluge of the water. The great cataract of Darwoth's Tears fell over and over endlessly.
